loltracks

The THING OF THE DAY (August 30eth 2009) are soundtracks.

The only two things I've ever had some sort of addiction to are movies and music. When these two are together they ether make a musical or a soundtrack. Since I consider musicals a bit silly, soundtracks come to me first. Luckily, I've heard a lot of music and have seen enough films to have some sort of favorites. So, I want a bit of your precious attention on the list of my favorite TV/Movie soundtracks (which you need to hear).
  • Various tunes from the soundtrack to Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain
    • composed by Yann Tiersen
  • "What is a youth?" from Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo&Juliet
    • composed by Nino Rota
  • "Laura's theme" and most of the music from Twin Peaks (TV)
    • composed by Angelo Badalamenti
  • "Gollum's song" from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy
    • sung by the marvelous Emiliana Torrini
  • "Buckbeak's flight" from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film.
    • composed by John Williams
  • "Follow Me" from The Ghost in the Shell: Innocence
    • sung by Kimiko Itoh

Of course, this is not the full list, not even close. Just a quick reminder for future (yes, I forget things I like. Highly contagious by the way). But I hope you've read it and heard it.

MY GOD! It's an update.

Finally, an update here. I know it's been almost NINETHOUSAND!!!!! years since I've wrote something here. I don't think anyone will ever read this, but if somebody does, please note the following excuses that I've came up with -

  1. I'm moving to a new place.
  2. I don't have a computer yet.
  3. I didn't decide which blog I'll be using.
  4. I now have a dog, so my daily duties have increased.
  5. I have watched an awful lot of movies (which is not really a good excuse).
  6. And even though I don't have a computer yet, my sister and I are already planning another (boring for you, exiting for us!) project, which is our website.
This post is unusual, because I've already written everything I had to say about my social and not very social lives, and the next post is probably going to be all about dorkieness - which is considered normal for this place.

Spiders and favorites

The thing of the DAY (August 6th 2009): are spiders.

Yesterday we've seen "Along came a spider". It was good. I love Mika Boorem. She's amazing.

Also - Denizens! Attention! would be my favorite thing so far. The characters are awesome. I looooooooove Winston's bunny hat and glasses. So cute!

And by the way - new page rules. Can't wait for more! --->>>>

I wrote this kind of post before, but since than I've discovered some more exiting films that I want to see -
  • Shorts
  • Fairytale: A true story
  • Little Princess
  • (500) Days of Summer
  • Holmes
  • Julie & Julia
  • Once
  • Inkheart
I also wanted to list some episode series that I'd like to see, but I didn't think of a full list yet so yeah...

The good, the bad and the awesome

Hello thar! Oh my, it feels like I didn't write here in ages...

Anyway, instead of "the thing of the day" you will receive a chart of NEWS! VERY IMPORTANT NEWS!

AWESOME news: there is something in my life that had become true after about 13 years of whining... I. HAVE. A DOG!!!!! (omg caps lock and five exclamation points) Yes. YES. YEAS! His name is Smokey and he will turn 3 months tomorrow. We've got him very cheap. In fact FREE. And yet he's a German Sheppard with a great family tree and history. No jk! He came free with one deal - we take him to the guys who gave him to us two times to have babies. Than he's ours 4evar.

GOOD news:
I'm going to get a new laptop soon. I've already got my school things, so yeah!

Semi-BAD news: I don't think that someone actually reads this. Lately, I've got addicted to livejournal. I've seen awesome people and communities there, so I'm thinking of using it instead of this journal. But, of course, I'll leave this as an archive and maybe even write here time-to-time. I guess I'll have to decide this more properly, because I didn't think of everything yet.

BAD news: I've given up being a vegetarian after a week (or more?) of trying. I guess syberian girls can't survive without meat. Or, maybe, that's just my "always-try-to-be-thin" habit.

So yeah, that's it. I'm going to think over the destiny of this poor blog. Anyway, whatever I decide, let's hope I will no FAIL again. Or Edward Cullen will cum and bite me D:

Four awesome things.

Ok. I wanted to write things down in order. Since I've skipped four days o' bloggin', I have a chance to list four awesome things! =D

1/4 = Gazpacho!

2/4 = Timetravelin'.

3/4 = My sketchbook that is full of Alice stuff.

4/4 = Book sculptures.

Yeah, that's the awesome. And yes, the crappy picture of my sketchbook and my gazpacho were taken by me. And no, I'm not going to do this every time i skip an entry.

Alice

Thing of the DAY (07/24/09) is Scorch.

I call it that, because I'm looking forward to write another entry later today. If I don't I'll just rename it.

Ok, Scorch is awesome, and the new chapter amazes me, and I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this comic! Belfry Twins are doing a lot like me and my sister. In my own strong, whatsoever, personal opinion.

Ok, in this post I wanted to write a little list of films that I'd really like to see -
  • Phoebe in Wonderland
  • Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
  • Where the Wild Things Are
  • Slumdog Millionaire
  • My Sister's Keeper
  • Mirrormask
  • 9
  • Caroline (in good quality)
Alice in Wonderland is something that's meant to be fascinating. Not to forget - a good quality trailer. I'm really exited of Burton's idea of making Alice, because I always thought that he would be a perfect director of the movie version. I'm very amazed by the fact that my "wish" kind of already came true. Let's all hope that the film approves itself.

By the way. I was thinking - is there really a person in the world who hates Alice's Adventures in Wonderland? I was thinking about it this whole morning, and I didn't come up with a decent answer.

First veggie blog and swirls.

Thing of the DAY (07/23/09): is this - The 20questions game.

Mostly and obviously because it's awesome, also because it's really fascinating how this thing actually guesses what's on your mind. The other reason is that I won THREE games, which describes me as a clever-minded person. Oooh, yeah.

To be exact, I won one music themed game when I guessed Ringo Starr and I won one Harry Potter game as I guessed Romilda Vane. My third lucky winning is only three fourths of a truth because the A. I. actually got it right (Thomas O'Malley from Aristocats on the Disney themed game) ... but it took it more than 20 questions to guess.

Also I was really impressed when the machine guessed the movie Labyrinth right. It took the A. I. about 25 questions to guess but I think it's totally still a win. I mean, how the hell would it guess the Labyrinth (especially with my oh-so-clever mind).

Ok, enough about the game - I want to write about what gave me nightmares last night -

It's an amazing manga by Junji Ito. Ok, alright, I admit - yesterday I had a bad dream and I woke up at 5 in the morning. The last thing is practically usual for me... well... maybe, the first too, but it's not the whole idea of the idea I wanted to reflect by writing this crappy sentence. The main idea is that I LOVE horror comics and I LOVE this, particular - Uzumaki , but I never actually had nightmares about it. If you are reading this, and you don't really enjoy swirly-eyed school girls, and you are very sensitive, and you don't want to have bad time sleeping - I'm sorry. I don't think you will find it enjoyable to read this, even thought Junji Ito is so amazing.

Also, even though I've just written a whole paragraph about flashandbloodandhorror, this is my first blog entry while being a vegetarian. That's right! I've been thinking about this the whole half of the year, and from yesterday on - Ama's only eatin' cabbages. =D

(Ok, that was lame, I'm eating everything except for non-vegetarian products. LOL.)

Bellaaaahhh!

Thing of the DAY (07/21/09): Twilight=FAIL comic.

Yup. The thing of the day is Twilight's tragic failure. Mostly because I've seen a twilight - new moon trailer at the movies. And by the way, if you want to see the LAMEST movie (trailer) ever you should watch it. Geee.... the teaser trailer is something to attract the viewer, not bore him to death! Half-a-trailer it was Bella's birthday. And then - wtf? Edward - "Bella, I dunwant anything to happen to u, so am leaving!" *whhooosh, poof, tee-hee* Edward is gone.

But I'm not gana lie - I want to see the film... but only for moments like these -

An actual movie screenshot (from the trailer).

And by the way - let's all hope that Bella doesn't loose the stupid. 'Cause we'll all miss it! ;D

Browsing...

This is just because we're so easy to buy, people!

Ok, so I've spent the whole day browsing xkcd. This is genial.

The other thing I've been addicted to lately is "Rabbit Heart" by Florence+The Machine. I'm even planning to create a sort of thing like a "thing of the day", so I can remember the littlest and, I dunno, it just sounds fun.

Hopefully, I've stopped thinking about school... not! I'm still thinking about getting back to school, and how much it's gana suck. Basically, I'm scared of new things, thats why I'm so afraid. I mean, the school isn't new, but the material is... well, why do I even bother...

The other thing is that I've noticed A COMPLETE LOSS OF CREATIVITY! Yeah! My drawings had been bothering me a lot. They all are just like one big meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhh! I really need to draw bodies and animals, and the background more. Otherwise there are just boring faces.

Also, I really want to play Sims 3 and to get out of the house.

kthnksbye!

Harrypotterness!

Ok, so this is the Harry Pottery post 'couse yesterday we went to the movies and saw it.

In general, the movie was awesome. Just because moments were captured amazingly well, and the actors have gotten better over years, and the whole movie was composed fantastically... and I have a lot more to say, but! The movie had some bad stuff too, so I've decided to bring it all up in +/- chart, so I won't forget it.

Good: Harry was Harrier than ever. I'm telling you! Daniel was a lot like Harry was in the first place - unlike fourth and fifth movies.

Bad: If I was a viewer that haven't read all the books fifteen times each, I would not know not who the hell Narcissa was, not who the hell Grayback was, nor who the hell Lavender was.

Good: Tonks actually APPEARED.

Bad: She called Lupin a sweetheart. First - Tonks was emo the whole sixth book because Remus was rejecting her by telling that he was too old and too dangerous, second - seriously, "sweetheart"?

Good: Lavender was awesome and awesome and awesome! Her clothes, her lines...

Bad: ...her intense fangirlism that never stopped, but never actually was in the book.

Good: The nose-kicking scene.

Bad: Tonks was replaced by Luna, which was actually a good thing, but it wasn't in the book. Also, It didn't make much sense, because the train was supposed to stop somewhere near Hogsmade and even if she wanted it, Luna could not end up there. Another thing - by remaking it into a Luna scene they made Snape go with Draco, instead of Harry, which was my personal con, because I loved that scene in the book.

Good: Romilda Vane!!! She was there and she was awesome! I LOVED everyone from the included supporting characters.

Bad: No Bill, no Fleur, no telling about the wedding thing, no Percy...urgh!

Good: New Pancy Parkinson was better than the "old" one.

Bad: Half-Blood-What? Prince-Who? It's as if Harry wasn't interested in it a all! And Hermione! I was disappointed. When Snape said "I am the Half-Blood-Prince!", I was like "So? Ya need a medal for that one?" Because the movie didn't show all the research that Harry made to find that out.

Good: Ginny.

Bad: Too much Ginny! Plus, Harry/Ginny kiss. It was BAD!

Good: Dumbledore staring at the perfume advertising.

Bad:
When at the beginning Headmaster grabbed Harry in slow-mo. We all know about Dumbie's sexual preferences, but why'd they have too bring that one up?

Good: The scene where Hermione blasted canaries at Ron. It was amazing.

Bad: The Katy Bell necklace curse moment. It wasn't too bad, but it was incomplete and reminded me of the movie "300".

Good: The potions making scene. It awed and it was just like I pictured it.

Bad: Crowd's reaction to Snape being a new Dark Arts teacher. It was like nothing happened.

Good: Death Eaters' appearance.

Bad: NO BATTLE IN THE END???

Good: Draco Malfoy. He was goooooooooooood! He was better than good. More confident and responsible, but still a sissy.

Bad: Narcissa Malfoy. She wasn't that little, fragile, emotional, but evil Cissy. The only thing that was right were her clothes. Loved them.

Good: The Slug Club.

Bad: POOF! And the scene with Luna talking to Trelawney and Snape and Slughorn disappeared. Maybe it's just me, but a lot of people hoped for this scene to appear.

Good: The infernal scene was actually scary.

Bad:
WHATTACRAP? Where did that fire thing come from?

Good:
Ginny yelling "SHUT IT!!!" at the Griffyndor Quiddich Team .

Bad: Harry is such a douche! He was standing there, emotionlessly, while Snape was killing Dumbledore. It clearly stated in the book, that the Headmaster used paralyzing spell on Harry, and hid him under the invisibility cloak. Otherwise it's just... wrong.

Good: Ron on drugs... I mean, under the love potion's effect.

Bad:
Where did Neville go? I mean, he was there, all along, but where was he than???

Good: Fred and George's shop.

Bad: Harry, Ron and Hermione CLIMBING ONTO THE ROOF to see what Malfoy's doing.

Good: Ginny: (about Harry) "He's covered in blood again. Why is he always covered in blood?"
Ron: "Well it looks like it's his own this time. "

Bad: Dumbledore's rather strange questioning about Harry and Hermione being more than friends.

Good: Luna's lion hat, glasses and appearance in general.

Bad: Malfoy was surrounded by Slytherin students... but where are Crabbe and Goyle? Even if they were there, I didn't notice them.

Good:
Actors that played Tom Riddle were perfect. They all looked beautiful, strange, alike and... sick.

Bad: Where did other memories go? I could swear there was more than two!

Good: Oh my god, the Liquid Luck effect!

Bad: Is it just me, or nobody said anything about Fudge being replaced by Scrimgeour? Sorry, if I'm wrong, but I didn't see it.

Phew! That was unusually long. Ok! The thing I want to say is that the film had more good than bad. I liked it, even though the book was better. READ IT!!!!!!! Wow, that was scary. xD

Ama's glitterry new dezzle blog!

Hoorraaayyy! Yeah, this blog is mine. Only for me and my thoughts, like a little sketchbook.
